Just a thought, are you sure that the leak is coming from the belt driveshaft? My '87 leaked around that area and it ended up being the transmission shaft. Cost about $4.00 for the new seal. I've been lucky so far with my '87, not much in the line of oil leaks. I'm sure one day I will have, but for now I will enjoy the fact that I don't.
